The scene : The penitentiary serves as the Smith's Grove sanatorium: its interiors open the film, and it is through its security gate, on the east side, that the bus carrying the inmates exits.

Military Magnet Academy

North Charleston, United States

School opened in 1997, whose architecture is reminiscent of the military academy The Citadel, with its checkerboard courtyard.

The scene : Michael is held outside, in the checkered courtyard of Smith's Grove, when the two podcasters and Dr. Sartain come to find him: the doctor urges him to speak and talks to him about his mask. The building also lends its corridor of lockers to Haddonfield High School.

Collins Road House (North Charleston)

The scene : This is where the isolated house stood, where Laurie saw it locked and barricaded, with the hidden entrance to her basement; the podcasters come to find it.
