L2TC is the only source that links this scene to the square; Film France and MovieSceneMap merely mention the location among those in the film. On the L2TC forum, a contributor also suggests it but is cautious: the Panthéon does not appear when the car leaves, and he assumes a montage between two places, one for the arrival, the other for the departure. Another contributor mentions the steps of the Saint-Étienne-du-Mont church, about forty meters from here, which has its own entry.

The colonnade is said to have come from the rotunda of the Valois, built by Catherine de' Medici near the Basilica of Saint-Denis and then demolished in the 18th century. Preserved in its state of ruin during the restoration of the park in 1861, the naumachia remains the lowest point of the park's stream network, from where water is pumped to the waterfall.

The scene : The colonnades of the Naumachie in Parc Monceau appear in the opening montage of the film.
