The Dakota (Manhattan)
New York, United States
Designed by architect Henry Janeway Hardenbergh and built between 1880 and 1884, the Dakota has ten storeys and sixty-five apartments, each one different. Designated a New York City landmark in 1969, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and named a National Historic Landmark in 1976, it has been home to Judy Garland, Lauren Bacall, Boris Karloff and Leonard Bernstein. John Lennon was shot under its front entrance canopy on 8 December 1980; his memorial, Strawberry Fields, faces it across Central Park.
The scene : 2 min — Renamed the Bramford, this Gothic building is where newlyweds Rosemary and Guy come to view a vacant apartment before moving in. The film shows its facades and courtyard, from the low-angle shot that closes the opening credits to the final shot. It is also on its sidewalk that the neighbor who took her own life lies, and in front of its entrance that the doorman whistles for a taxi for the Castevets' departure.
New York, United States
Forty-eight-storey skyscraper at Rockefeller Center, designed by Wallace Harrison and inaugurated in 1959 under the name Time & Life Building. The undulating paving of its plaza takes up the pattern of the sidewalks of Copacabana, in Rio de Janeiro.
The scene : 1 hr 10 min — Hutch arranged to meet Rosemary in front of the Time & Life Building to reveal something urgent to her. She waits near the southeast corner, on the plaza's rippled paving, checking the time on the clock visible at the end of 50th Street, then goes into the lobby to call him from a phone booth: he will never come.

The scene : 1 hr 13 min — Distressed to learn that Hutch has fallen gravely ill, Rosemary stops in front of the jeweler's first display window to gaze at a nativity scene; Minnie Castevet immediately appears at her side and walks her back home.

The scene : 1 hr 36 min — Convinced that Guy is in league with the neighbors, Rosemary staggers, haggard, into the midst of traffic and crosses Fifth Avenue heading northwest; the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church rises on the other side of the street.
New York, United States
The scene : 1 hr 42 min — De la cabine téléphonique installée à ce coin de rue, Rosemary appelle, affolée, le Dr Hill, le médecin qu'on l'avait poussée à quitter, et obtient un rendez-vous sur-le-champ.
650 Park Avenue (Manhattan)
New York, United States
Immeuble d'habitation de vingt et un étages et quatre-vingt-dix-neuf logements, construit en 1963 sur Park Avenue, entre la 66e et la 67e Rue.

The building was sold in 2003, and the shop reopened in 2004 at 16 East 46th Street before closing in 2007. In 2019, a jewellery store occupied the premises.
