The former Utah State Prison was demolished in 2023, following the relocation of the facility.

The scene : Some of the interiors of the Ridgemont sanatorium were filmed in the old state prison: the arrival of the attendants from Smith's Grove at the guardhouse, then the depths of the facility where Michael is locked up.
